FAQ

Camp notes

Is this an official Percy Jackson hunt?

No. Lightning Quest is an unofficial fan scavenger hunt built by Observable Universe Inc. It is not affiliated with Disney, Disney+, 20th Century, Rick Riordan, or the publishers.

Is there a new Percy Jackson movie?

There is no new theatrical film announced. The live event on the calendar is Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 (The Titan’s Curse), premiering November 20, 2026 on Disney+ and Hulu. This hunt is the warmup for that premiere.

Do I need to pay?

No. The quest is free. Field missions should stay cheap or free.

Does progress follow me to a new phone?

No. Twelve-stop progress is stored in this browser. A new device starts the clues over. Your drawing entry is the form, not the browser.

Can a group play together?

Yes. Pass the phone, shout answers, split field missions. One finisher form per person if you want separate drawing entries.

What if I get stuck?

Use the hint on each stop. First names usually work. If you are still stuck, write us from Contact and tell us which stop.

Are the prizes official merch or tickets?

No. Prizes are Observable Universe watch-party kits and shout-outs.
